State Flag!

As you arrive you may see this glorious flag blowing gently in the Alaskan breeze. Designed in 1997, this flag is a picture of the big dipper and the northern star.

Every part of the flag represents important symbols. The blue represents The Alaskan state flower (the forget-me-not) and the beautiful Alaskan sky. The big dipper represents a bear (the big dipper is a part of Ursa Major). The northern star is a bright star in the night sky.
